Maximum Precision’s Yearly Round Up
In a world where masks and lateral flow tests have become part of our everyday lives and change management is the order of the day, Maximum Precision have adapted to this situation with focus, commitment and drive and certainly made the most of the past 12-months. Here we highlight our yearly round up!
Our investment in both new premises and a Matsuura H.Plus-300, CNC horizontal machining centre, back in February was an amazing start to the year. This new machine has certainly been put through its paces since commissioning, using the 15-pallet system to plough through high volume machining work. With the capability of running unmanned overnight, this machine has made some meaningful changes to our lead times.
Continuing Maximum Precision’s investment programme in June this year, we welcomed a Doosan Lynx 2100 LYSA. An additional turning machine enabling us to ensure we are continually providing our customers with the excellent service that they are used to receiving from us. This newly designed machine is as powerful and productive as ever, and of course, it is being put through its paces.
August bank holiday weekend saw our brave team of volunteers take on the 2021 Newmarket Soapbox Derby. This year’s chosen charity was East Anglian Air Ambulance, with a total of £340 being donated to an extremely worthwhile cause. This was a valiant effort from the team, and we look forward to seeing what feats are achieved next year.
As a result of continued growth and business demand a further premises were secured in September. As part of our development and expansion plans this enables us to server our customers more effectively through expansion of our capabilities.
Of course, new premises requires new machinery. In October, the business took delivery of two new Star sliding head lathes, expanding our capabilities once more. The Star SB-20R and Star SR-20JII, offer us consistency, accuracy, and versatility. This is another great investment for the business which we very look forward to maximising for the benefit of our customers.
Over the course of 2021, seeing continued growth we had the pleasure of recruiting more staff to keep up with business demand. Maximum welcomed four new recruits throughout the year, two Milling Operatives, a Manufacturing Technician, and a Quality Inspector. We are also proud to announce, we will be welcoming a further three new starters in the New Year! Two engineers for the milling department and one in turning. We look forward to seeing them get started, ready for a busy 2022.
Maximum Precision would not be where we are today without its loyal customer base. We have been truly fortunate to have some wonderful feedback and testimonials from our customers this year, here are a few of our favourites.
“I have been using Maximum Precision for 10 years now and I find this company not only very professional, very competitive on their pricing, very customer focused, they will also go over and above for your requirements but also a pleasure to deal with on a personnel level too. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new machining supplier.”
“Maximum Precision are an outstanding company to deal with. Always precise and professional, I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for either large quantities or machining or prototype work, they have provided us both with great success.”
The benefit to the whole team of receiving such positive feedback is immense. It is so valuable for us all to be able to know, first-hand, that the work we are doing continues to meet the standards of excellence we are all aspire to.
We would like to extend our gratitude and thank all our valued customers and suppliers for their continued support this year. We look forward to working with you in the New Year and will be back rested and energised to provide the exceptional level of service for which we are known.
From all of us here at Maximum Precision, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Best Wishes
